We regret to announce the passing of William "Billy" Joiner, Jr., a loving husband, father, and community member, who left us on March 2, 2024. William, fondly known as Billy by his peers but who preferred being addressed as William, was born on November 21, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Gray-Joiner, and his daughters, Kena Gray, and Joi Joiner. His family was his pride and joy, and he constantly filled their lives …

not to many big words but nice.....writing a obituary for William Lee Joiner Jr; was born November 21, 1958 to William and Thelma Joiner Sr. in Detroit Michigan. he attended the Inkster public schools up to high school and graduated from Taylor High. He served in the US Army; worked at Chrysler Automotive as a line assembler. He accepted Chris at an early age, He attended Cathedral of Faith Church were the late Hinkle was the presiding Bishop. attended other churches where the pastors were a mentors. He was a minister, love singing. He was a pillar in the community. He was well known, he touched many lives he came in contact with. Personality: Positive, humble and encouraging. He was a dresser always matching from top to bottom. He and Clara M. Gray-Joiner married in 1992 and they served together as one until his passing on March 2, 2024 in Wayne MI. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Clara M. Gray-Joiner of Inkster, MI, his loving daughter Joi Joiner of Detroit, MI, loving stepdaughters Kena (Ray) of Warren, MI, Marcia (Lawrence) o Detroit, MI, Sonya of Redford, MI and stepsons Calvin (Shondra) of Inkster, MI, James Hayes of Inkster, MI, Dorrall of Inkster, MI and Melvin Jr. (Shavon) of St. Joseph, MN, cousin Michele one brother Walter C. Jones Jr. a.k.a Porky, who proceeds him in death, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
