I have known Bill for more than ten years. He was a very kind, compassionate and true gentleman. He enjoyed dancing, being with his friends and always had such a wonderful smile. I will miss him deeply. My condolences, prayers, love and blessings to the family. Rest eternally, my dearest friend.✡️✝️♥️. Dolores (Dee) Knight
Something a friend of Bill E Maxwell wrote in response to Dad's obituary:
Thank you for sharing. I realize it took a while to pull it together, but you and your sisters have told a beautiful story. It's wonderfully written. It provides all the historic details for those interested in genealogy along with his story. I read a lot of obituaries (maybe you remember that; maybe not). This one grabbed me instantly. Is it an obituary or a spy novel? A child whose name was changed, lived in many places, and had varying interests. He served, watching others and documenting life through a lens, But he was also a participant in life, a member of organizations, a man who had a family. Someone who danced. I'm sure there will be many interesting stories shared at his Celebration of Life.
