William (Bill) passed away on July 10 surrounded by his wife and daughters after a brief battle against cancer. He was born on December 9, 1949 to parents Louise and William McQuilkin Sr of Portsmouth, New Hampshire where he grew up with his five sisters. After graduating from Portsmouth High School in 1968, he was drafted into the United States Army. Following his release from the service in 1971, he moved to Maine. He then …
