William Charles Champion, Sr. was born in Madison, Illinois on March 20, 1926 and passed away August 21, 2020. He was born to Bertha & Randall Champion & lived in Illinois until he was around 16, when his family moved to Walnut Creek Ca. He joined the Army Air Force in 1943 & was sent to Amarillo, Texas. He worked as an airplane mechanic & was in pilot's training. He was honorably discharged in October, …
