Our Bill is already so missed... He is now in the highest heaven and shining down on us all ~ can't get any higher!

I am so sad and heartbroken and still can not believe it is true. From 50 years ago as high schoolers to now. We had experienced so many things in life together. We flew at 10,000 ft above a full cloud blanket underneath us and with a blue sky on top, like being by God. He taught me high wind landings, skimming mountainside contouring, experienced so many balloon races together. Our first company called " Cousins of the Clouds" in our first balloon called "What the Heck". So many crazy adventures together like free repelling off Natural Bridge. Golfing together. Played many years in The City of Phoenix Basketball league together and even won one year. Learned to be cigar connoisseurs together. He taught me the intricacies of poker. We bought real estate together. Very few knew what a good singer and musician he was.
Every time I would see him he would be give me a hug and say "Hey Buddy" , a greeting that I think all of his friends have received. I deeply regret not being able to see him a short time before his passing when he and Ken had called for a meetup. How do you heal after losing someone who was so important in your life? It hurts that he is no longer with us. He was such a good, good guy and a true friend to not only me but to all who knew him.

It has been a very lo g time but we always loved hanging out with Bill in Yuma at the balloon race & smoking cigars.

To my best friend....
I'm at a loss for words and there is an emptiness in my heart. So grateful for the wonderful recent memories that we shared at the Neil Young concert, not to mention the memories we have accumulated over the past 50+ years. You will be dearly missed by everyone who knew you. However, I know that God has a cigar smoking section in heaven and that you are in a happy place!
