William's obituary
Bill was born to William and Virginia (Lambert) Bargar on May 11, 1944.
He graduated from Glen Burnie Vocational School in 1962 with a diploma in Industrial Woodworking.
In 1962 Bill joined the United States Army. During his six year enlistment he earned the rank of Staff Sargent E6 before being honorably discharged in 1968.
After the Army he made a 33 year career as a woodworker, furniture and cabinet maker working at various jobs including finisher for the United States House of Representatives cabinet shop and furniture repairer for Fairfax County Public Schools.
He retired from Fairfax County Public Schools in 2003 and moved to Charlottesville, Virginia in 2013.
He is survived by his wife Estrella R. Bargar; sons Richard A. Bargar and Robert W. Bargar (Lisa); step son Maynard Petras (Laura); sister Gail Schimpf; brothers Mitchell Bargar and Dale Bargar; Grandchildren Owen, Miles, Treanna, Keanna, Malaya, Kai and Mayumi.
A private burial service with full military honors will take place at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 East Chandler St. Culpeper, VA 22701.
