Quite Possibly The Last Photo…
2024, In the Air
Quite Possibly The Last Photo of Wayne
It breaks my heart to know that you were in such pain. A few days before, you sent me a link to Gerald Lavert's song, I'd Give Anything. You said it summed up how you felt. I told you you were a big teddy bear and that your life would surely turn around the way you wanted it to. I'm still numb. I miss you ya big teddy bear! Until we meet again.
My heart hurts.Though I was your cousin you called me auntie. We talked often and auntie cuzn Kim prayed for you. Our stories made our tears turn into laughter. Your smile, that hearty laugh, but mostly your kind and sensitive heart ❤️ which was shown to many will never be forgotten. You literally would give the shirt off your back if one asked for it. "You were LOVE Wayne" by many and will truly be missed. I hurt but I know there is no more pain. We continue to watch over your little brother Philip who you loved so dearly. You always protected him. Now God got him and Wayne will be watching along with the other host of witnesses cheering you on. I pray God's peace and comfort to his entire community of friends and family. Amen

I will miss Wayne so much, and I will miss his beautiful smile and brown eyes. I will not be able to cook his curried chicken and jerk chicken for him. May his soul rest in peace 🕊️
Wayne was a great man. He was my great friend. I've never met anyone as selfless as he was. It was such an honor to meet such an genuine person in such a cruel world.  I am glad that we shared so many happy moments. I am glad that he can finally see peace and how loved he really was. Please everyone... take this as a lesson to never take anyone for granted. If you love someone- let them know.  Let's all be better to each other. Life is already hard enough. Sending good energy to everyone!💕

Wayne!!! Remember when me, you and Tamika went out clubbing in Philly?? Mika and I got so drunk from Hennessy shots that you had to carry us back to the car. You were always so much fun. I’ll miss that giant smile!!  Rest well my friend! ❤️❤️❤️
Wayne was my mentor at protiviti and in our barbershop talk BEING. I remember I was concerned about not being with a client and thinking I was going to get terminated. He took me to the side and said chill, your scores are high in the company take this time and get your certs they are not going to let you go as you have good scores. He always knew and had away of simplifying things and making things mentally easy and giving a different perspective. I’m going to miss him
In true Wayne Pleasant fashion,  he sort of wrote his own Eulogy.  In 2004 after attending an Oprah show, Wayne wrote a letter to Oprah about his life experiences to date and how they shaped him into a survivor.  I, Philip Pleasant (Brother), will be taking his words from the letter and pictures he saved over the years to create a visual representation of his life and legacy.   Here is a trailer of the Celebration of Life Video that will be presented in full on May 18th, 2024 in Pennsauken, NJ..
