Warren Saunders 96, died on January 30, 2020, near his home in Houston, Texas. Warren was born in Potosi, Missouri, the son of Lynnwood and Edna (Sauerbrunn) Saunders. He grew up during the Great Depression in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Soldan High School. During World War II, he served in the United States Army Signal Corps, stationed in the Philippines and Japan. Upon his return, he completed his bachelor of science degree in …

Memorial events are private

The private celebration of life gathering in Houston took place on Saturday, June 27. The military memorial service at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis was held on Friday, October 16. Warren’s and Bea’s ashes have been interred together at Jefferson Barracks.
