Barb, it was an honor helping with Clay’s care at Mayo. How feeble any words of ours must be to quell the anguish you’re experiencing. It was a relentless and difficult cancer battle that he had, and I sincerely hope that you and he found some breaks in the clouds to savor your time together.

Clay’s baseball team in the 50s
I will so miss Clay as part of my life!  We were in bookclub with other friends too.  He always had a view like none other - he was bright, empathetic & had seen the world.

I meet Clay at Pleasant Valley Teen Town around 1960.  We remained friends  and  over the years Clay keep in contact with my mother until her passing.  Mother loved talking politics with Clay.  She said they didn’t always agree on politics but she said he was still a fine young man.

To the Lozier family I’m so sorry for your loss.  I’ll miss Clay’s beautiful smile and friendship.
