Pastor Jenny really shined when giving sermon's.  Always some surprises - I remember the bang of a hammer in one! She combined informative and unique stories with always a spiritual vent. Myself and many at  Christ Lutheran in Fairfield Glade Tn lost a friend and mentor.

Pastor Jenny was our neighbor as well as our beloved Pastor. We often saw her walking Lucy down the street  As her health deteriorated and she searched for answers we would frequently check on her to see if she needed any help. She was a very independent and private woman who pushed on with duties alone even when her health was declining. We have kept her in our thought and prayers and now rejoice that she is in heaven with All the Saints. God's Grace has set her free!
We are sorry to hear of Pastor Jenny’s passing but rejoice she has joined the saints triumphant. Her sermons were so emotionally connecting and always touched our hearts. She, along with Christ Lutheran Church, were an inspiration for us and many friends to join the church. May she now know healing and peace.

We were so sorry to hear of Jenny's passing.  I would see things occasionally on Facebook but realized it had been some time since I had seen anything.  I think the last thing I saw was her move to the D.C. area.  She was well loved by this congregation and were sorry her health problems caused her to retire.  We had hoped she would get the help she needed.  Rest in peace,  Jenny.

I had lost touch with Virginia over the many years, but I will always know that you were one of the best of us.You exemplified and lived your faith in others and your higher power!

Always kind, always tolerant!  You will be missed by those you interacted with daily and those, like myself, that knew you were in the world making it just a little kinder, gentler and more forgiving.

I have nothing but fond memories of time with Virginia. When I was just Kirsten’s geeky younger sister, she always treated me with kindness and acceptance. That meant a lot to me and I looked up to her for her strength and resilience. I was honored to attend her ordination. I felt so proud of her for finding and following her calling so that her love and wisdom could be shared with so many. I wish all her loved ones peace and comfort during this heartbreaking time.

I was so sorry. We were hoping to see her the day after she died. Virginia was a member of my extended family. She was warm and kind. She was one of the best storytellers I'd ever known and my whole family loved her so much. We will miss her and remember her for everything she did. I wouldn't have had a family if it weren't for her sharing herself with Katrina And I'll always be grateful for Virginia's love.

Pastor Jenny did her internship at my home congregation in Jacksonville, FL when I was a teen. She then took her first call there, at what became a very turbulent time in the congregation, due to circumstances beyond her control. She taught me to lead with grace and strength and faith. She was so proud to say that she wasn’t going to let the youth group “fall apart,” though she admitted she didn’t know anything about leading teenagers. She was amazing, and when I was ordained in September 2019 I became the 3rd woman to become a Pastor from the youth group that she “didn’t let fall apart.” May God receive into loving care.

To all Virginia's friends and family... I wish you peace during this difficult time. Virginia and I were friends for 39 years, more than half our lives, I miss her smile, spunk, and wit. I've  posted my favorite picture of Virginia and she's with her beloved dog, Lucy. She'd only been here in Riva for a month but was excited for the gorgeous fall weather and holiday season to come!
