Virginia was a community activist and donated her time to many charities, therefore it is hard to make one single suggestion for donations in her name. However, Lutheran Services in America is a nationwide organization that services a variety of groups within the ELCA. With your donation you'll be contributing to the causes of women, children, refugees, combating food insecurities, addressing poverty, alcohol and drugs, and education to name a few.
