To The Stanley Family Please Accept Our Heart Felt Condolences The Consolation We Have In Christ Jesus You’re In Our Prayers God Bless Darren & Fiona Blackwood

He was a polite and an gentleman. Always smiling, warm,  genuine and sincere when he greeted me.

My warmest condolences and prayers to the family.

Praying for the strength and peace of our Lord at this time.

Pastor Stanley was an excellent example of humbleness, as a child of God and driving instructor. I remember when the National Choir went to Leeds to sing at their fund-raising. He was so overwhelmed, he kept repeating, " I can't believe the National choir came to sing,  I'm so happy."  I'm so glad I was a part of the choir that brought him happiness and put s smile on his face.  Till we meet again. Rest from your labour  in eternal peace.  Evangelist L. Bell, Deacon Bell and family.

There's no Words that can describe your gentle heart Mr Stanley, heaven has gain. I was left with a heavy heart when the news of your departure was brought to my attention; but on reflection, I was comforted by Timothy  he told me that you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will award to you.

Hence, I have let go, and I have allow you to rest in internal peace.

May our Lord Jesus  provide a special peace, peace that surpasses all human understanding,  to your dear wife, sister Stanley, your children, your grandchildren and all your entire family. Rest easy bro.

Sending my Heartfelt condolences to Sister Stanley, Sandra, Richard, Philip and family.

This is a lovely picture of your dad. I remember his warm smile and gentle kindness when I first came to Hyde Park and he has always remained the same.

He will be greatly missed. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren.

Love ❤ you guys like family.

RIP Uncle Victor

One memory that always makes me smile: he was driving me home from church one evening when some lads pulled up at the lights trying to drag race. When the lights changed, he left them in the dust—calm as anything—because he knew exactly how to pull off, being a driving instructor and all. It was such a quiet flex, and we both laughed about it after. Just one of those little moments that showed his sharpness and sense of fun.

He had such a calm but powerful Aura about him. My one regret is that I never properly introduced Roman to him. Would of been worth more than gold that. Sending love to the whole family 🙏🙏🙏

Pastor Stanley,

What can I say.. you were such a humble and caring man. I hold so many precious memories of your kindness and willingness to give your time. I especially appreciate your dedication towards praying and checking in on my son when he was in hospital. You will be sadly missed but I definitely take comfort in knowing that you’re with your maker and at peace. Condolences to the Stanley family 🙏🏾

Pastor Stanley baptised me in the name of Jesus when I was 7 years old 🙏 He is the father of his only daughter, my 1st friend 🧡 and he was like an uncle, his wife like an aunty and his children, like my cousins 💙 He was so kind and loving
I was so honoured when Pastor Stanley approached me and told me he wanted to join the Bethel National Choir. He told me he couldn't sing very well but he wanted to support the ministry. It was truly a blessing having him apart of the ministry. He was so dedicated and committed travelling to Birmingham from Leeds for rehearsals on a monthly basis. Take your rest dad and we'll sing together again in Gods choir in the sky. Sis Rachel Moore on behalf of Bethel National Music Ministry.

The Bravery of Elder Stanley

I remember in the very beginning.

It seems so long ago now.

As l entered Bethel Leeds.

On that momentous day.

I remember Elder Stanley.

Playing skilfully the church organ.

Which he deeply loved.

I remember he loved singing.

In, l think a very deep baritone.

I remember he loved.

To be amongst his beloved brothers.

From Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester.

He rarely sang alone.

Locally and in the district too.

He never shied away.

From Bethel National choir too.

Whilst praying or singing.

As a leader and a brother.

He bowed before.

God's throne.

I remember Elder Stanley.

Handing out his papers.

On which the hymns of Zion.

In which our songs were on.

All the meetings with him.

The brethren attended.

As we sang.

Our Godly songs.

I remember Elder Stanley.

When Bethel Leeds.

Was very vibrant and so strong.

I remember.

How he and sister Stanley.

Where at Pastor's Parris's side.

They with the brethren.

Helped her in Christ.

To abide and push on.

But mostly l remember.

His quiet, thoughtful and sometimes,

Puzzled look and charm.

Elder Stanley.

Though weakened.

By his illness.

Never threw in the towel.

Even though.

He could have said no more.

Dear Lord please.

But he continued.

Through his pain and woe.

He continued and loved God.

So much.

I have seen many brave men.

In my life large and small.

But dear Elder Stanley.

But your bravery.

In your challenging life.

Is a testimony.

To us all.

Your bravery.

Is the example.

To all those.

Who have had to be brave.

When life offers up.

Tests to their destiny.

And make them feel afraid.

I remember now.

You are no longer in pain.

And for you.

We give God thanks and praise.

The organ.

That you played.

We look on with fondness too.

As we your brethren.

Remember with God's love you.

God strengthen and keep.

Your family Elder Stanley.

Sister Jennifer

A heartfelt thank you to Elder Stanley , my first driving instructor  for his patience, guidance and building my confidence  behind the wheel. His lessons were invaluable and helped me navigate the roads I drive on today. He will be missed. My condolences to all his wonderful family.  🙏
