Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ to dear Missionary Stanley and the immediate and extended Stanley / Paris family, please accept our sincere heartfelt condolences on the passing of dear Elder Victor Stanley.
Elder Stanley was a very unique and sincere man of God. He was a leader of God’s people who truly had a shepherd’s heart. He loved God and he loved, cared and supported the people of God.
We will remember Elder Stanley’s bright and warm smile. He was humble and steadfast in his walk with the Lord.
He has fought a good fight and has finished his course. Elder Stanley is now resting in the arms of his Jesus.
May the comfort of God continue to surround you all at this sad time.

1979 – A Pivotal Year
In 1979, Margaret Thatcher became the UK’s first female Prime Minister. The Sony Walkman hit the shelves and changed how we listened to music. Sugar Ray Leonard won his first world title, and yes, Thatcher again – because that was a big deal. But for me? The most life-changing thing that happened was getting baptised. I was nine years old, and this was it! My big moment. I’d finally made it—from nervously playing my recorder at the front of the church during the district convention to singing with the ‘Big People’ Choir! Brother Stanley—known to all of us with affection—was the heart of it all. He’d pull out the Pentecostal Hymnal, and when it was really special, the Red Book: the Redemption Hymnal. He conducted the choir, played the organ, arranged the harmonies. That choir was where my love of singing truly began.
Fast forward to 1988—another milestone. Like so many of us at Hyde Park Church, I went through the rite of passage of learning to drive. And of course, it was Brother Stanley who taught us. I passed first time, in March 1988, and to this day people tell me how good my driving is. That’s all down to him.
So many memories. So many lives touched. A gifted, humble, and unforgettable man who always gave more than he had to—physically and spiritually. A true Pastor. Brother Stanley, you’ve left a mark on my life and so many others. Thank you for being such a steady presence and such a powerful example.
Rest in eternal peace. You will be sorely missed.
To Missionary Stanley and all the family, I offer my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Mother Stanley and family. Pastor Stanley was an amazing man of GOD. He was so kind, very approachable, had a brilliant sense of humour, and was hardworking 👏🏽. He loved to worship GOD. He was very passionate about his music, and singing with the brothers. He loved when we visited, as Elder Donovan Modest, would ask me to attend (Chris Dallas) with him, regularly. We were always treated with the highest respect, love, and of course, humour 🙏🏽. Pastor Stanley, and Mother Stanley always supported us, and gave spiritual advice ❤️ 💙. We will always remember his great smile. Thank you Pastor Stanley for looking out for GOD's children, never passing us when seeing us@ other church services. Mother Stanley and family, we haven't forgotten you. We will continue to pray for you, and visit you. We love you dearly, and thank you for everything. GOD bless. Bro Chris and Sis Lorna Dallas. ❤️ ❤️

Elder Stanley A Great Man of God
It is with deepest sympathy to you and your family and church family of the passing of our dear beloved Elder Stanley.
He is no longer a slave to pain. His heavenly father has ushered him home to higher services.
Deacon Walker and myself had found substance from Elder Stanley from a way back. His echoed voices of praises and his ready fingers on the organ with music of praises to our King. We have truly missed him.
A precious soul who had displayed inner pearls of genuine smile and elements of loved and grace from a true man of God.
It was a wonderful privilege to have shared with him Christian fellowship as a church family.
His touching fingers on the piano and his melodies of praises will continue to ring in our hearts, like the great speckled bird, who has spread his wings for this journey to supper with his Lord.
His chair will be empty, but will be at the Golden chair sitting beside his Lord and saviour Jesus Christ
He is sadly missed.
Rest well our Loving Brother.

My deepest condolences to you dear Sister Stanley. Richard, Philip, Sandra and Bethel Church
I have many fond memories of Minister Stanley, who baptised my mother & I in February 1983 immediately after we heard the message of salvation preached by his dear mother Pastor Mabel Parris.
I recall, during one Sunday school lesson, asking him for the ' Expository Teachers' Handbook, which he willingly gave me. He was a faithful teacher and steward of God's word. You would always hear him declaring, "Praise the Lord," whether from the pulpit, leading testimony service, on the piano, before starting a rousing chorus, or when he personally greeted you with a firm hand shake!
I remember numerous times at the family home, sharing 'nough joke' around the dinner table... his softly spoken voice adding comments amidst the laughter! His presence will be greatly missed.
Minister Stanley has entered his rest, I give God all the glory for his life and faithful service! 🙏🏽
All our love Jacquelyn, Danisha, Cairo & Alexander. God bless

We express our heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended Stanley family, Church family and friends. We were in the same class at BIBS and enjoyed fellowship. He has served his generation well. His service wasn't only natural but also spiritual, to so many. His pastoral role was temporal but sonship continues in Heaven.
The God of all comfort give Mother Stanley and the rest of the family the strength to endure the pain of loss. The precious memories of Pastor, husband, etc., is also a source of comfort. Heaven is richer by his presence and earth, poorer. The greater your love for Pastor Stanley is the greater the pain of bereavement. It is normal to express tears of joy and sadness at the same time. Jesus wept so it’s okay to cry.
Pastor Stanley is missed on earth but is rejoicing in Heaven’s paradise. Rest in peace Pastor Stanley. You have wept for a night, but your joy has come as your body sleep on earth, but your spirit is wide awake, dressed in white, in Heaven. His resurrection is certain and we shall see him again at the Rapture.

It is with great sadness that I write this message. I will deeply miss your messages of encouragement on our family chat and during our family prayer calls. As a family, we will carry on these traditions with you and Nana as our anchor and inspiration.
On Sunday, 19th November 2006, you baptised my sister and I (Sarah). It was a joyous and deeply significant milestone in my walk with Christ one I will always cherish. Thank you for being part of such a sacred moment in my life.
In the summer of 2011, you and Uncle Otis married John and I. You blessed our marriage, and we will always be grateful for that beautiful moment. I've always loved telling people that my uncles married us it's something I hold dear.
Thank you for teaching me how to drive those lessons was definitely unforgettable! Yes, I passed on the first time. You were shocked… and honestly, so was I! But I couldn’t have done it without you.
As I reflect, I’m reminded that you were part of many pivotal moments in my life. Your presence and influence will not be forgotten.
Rest in eternal peace, Uncle, reunited with Nanna, resting in the arms of Jesus You will always be in my heart.
Goodnight
Sereena xx
