Victor’s gentle kindness touched everyone he met. I met Victor on his first trip with Kellogg students in Argentina and even among a group of strangers, his warmth drew people in. He will be dearly missed.

We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. We were only able to meet Victor via zoom calls. However, through stories, pictures, and videos that Rayssa shared with us, it was clear how special Victor was and how much he meant to Rayssa.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Victor. We were section mates at Kellogg in 2013. I will always remember him for his warmth towards others and passion he put towards his intellectual pursuits. Thinking about those closest to him during this difficult time. ❤️
I first met Victor several years ago when our son, Tyler introduced us in Chicago. They started up a medical device company together while completing their MBA’s. Victor and Tyler were inseparable then and in addition to working together daily they spent hours on the phone nights and weekends discussing and building the company step by step. Victor later joined a second medical device company as well that Tyler was involved with. He was a sweet, smart, gentle spirit who willingly shared his time and talents as a member of the team and he was loved and respected by all who knew him.
The last time I saw Victor was the 4th of July when he joined Tyler and several friends at our family river home in Florida. He brought with him bottles of fine wine but more importantly he brought his beautiful girlfriend. I was immediately impressed by their loving relationship. They were an amazing couple and it was obvious to me that he had found the one thing that had been missing from his life up to that point....his soulmate.
As we all sat out on the riverside deck in the moonlight under twinkling stars , they shared stories of how they met and how the quarantine had brought them closer together.
The next morning I told Tyler how happy I was for Victor as it was obvious he was head over heels in love. He absolutely looked to be the best version of himself!!!! That is how I will always remember Victor......smiling in the moonlight!
Our condolences to the family, friends and soulmate of Victor!

Miss you a lot Victor. From parties and spring breaks to thoughtful 1-1s, you were an amazing friend. I am so glad to have met you and you made my and so many other lives happier with your friendship.
Until next time my friend, I am sure we will cross paths again. Sit tibi terra levis.

It is surreal to be writing this about Victor, but I guess it is a part of life that those who are so loved may pass before us, especially at such a young age and without reason. With this I share my fond memories of, as I would call him sometimes; "Senor Victor". I only knew Victor for the about four years, as he became a part of our start-up company family, EDGe Surgical. He entered into the company needing to prove himself and that he did. He demonstrated is knowledge, passion, and desire to make a difference and win. Throughout our business relation, I began to know Victor as a person and what was most important to him and what he was most passionate about. I saw Victor grow a lot over the years I knew him and I took great joy in seeing him develop into an incredible adult. Our relationship developed from a business / working relationship into an admirable friendship. A couple memories which stand out to me with Victor are:
* our trip for EDGe Surgical to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a meeting and we had some down-time, so Victor and I took a jog on the beach. No one around, just him and I. Later that night, we went out on the town and ended up at the Cabo Wabo bar where to our surprise Sammy Hagar was performing just a few feet away from us on stage. I had many intimate conversations with Victor and remember him as such a smart, caring, hard-working, and personable person who at the core loved his parents, siblings, and family. He wanted nothing more than to make them proud, and I must say, his family should be proud. Victor was an amazing soul. He was smart, hard-working, enjoyed life to the fullest, and though he may have been away from home, he always was thinking of his family. I am deeply sorry I cannot make his services, but if I can offer any words of praise; to you, his parents, his siblings, and his whole family, that is please celebrate Victor's life rather than morn in sorrow. While he was taken from us way too young and for reasons none of us can understand, please, have comfort in knowing you raised an amazing son, who loved you so much, he was such a smart and talented person, and a spirit which I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Be proud of the son you raised and all he was able to enjoy & accomplish in his life, and celebrate all that is Victor, in each of your lives, ever day.

Thinking of you and here for you, with so much love,
K.C.
