I am grateful to have known Victor through our work at Amazon. Victor worked with teams across the globe, bringing a calm and positive attitude that made everyone feel supported and appreciated. He inspired me to be a better coach and leader at work, primarily by simply trying to emulate him as a person. Victor had just moved to Seattle, but I was glad we shared coffee and drinks together, allowing us to talk about the life he was planning here. I can only imagine all of the success and happiness he was sure to have. I know you are in a better place now. I think about you often and will try to carry your spirit forward throughout my work and life.

Victor truly was a shining light to so many. I met Victor through Northwestern and Innoblative where we worked together for a little over three years. It was such a blessing in my life to be a part of that company that he helped start. His passion for entrepreneurship and life were clear. I'll never forget how he would encourage me to travel and I will never forget him.

All my thoughts and prayers to Victor's family and close friends,

My heartfelt condolences to Victor's family during this challenging time. It was my pleasure to briefly work with Victor at Amazon and he was always very kind and supportive. It a great loss and he will surely be missed. May his soul rest in peace

Victor você foi o genro que eu sempre sonhei... ou melhor você superou minhas expectativas, um menino amoroso, carinhoso, integro, leal, competente, inteligente e honesto. Enfim eu estava muito feliz por você fazer um dos meus grandes amores tão feliz, Rayssa estava muito realizada por ter te escolhido como um companheiro para vida, e nós aqui no Brasil assistíamos essa linda história de amor por ligações, fotos e vídeos que vcs compartilhavam alegremente. Fiquei com um capítulo incompleto na minha vida. queria ter te conhecido pessoalmente e ser avô dos seus filhos. Que Deus console seus avós, pais, irmãos, amigos e nós sua família brasileira. Te amo genro querido! Fique em paz!

Victor tinha a minha idade, 34 anos. Sou Gheysa prima/irmã da Rayssa que também moro com o amor da minha vida há um ano, assim como eles, estavam nessa fase. Tenho me colocado no lugar de vocês diariamente e tenho pedido pra Deus ser palavra e usar meu coração para: o que Deus quer que precisa que seja feito e falado.
Como escrever uma carta aos pais ( irmãos ou pra RA) de consolo num momento desses? Nessa fase de muita dor e sofrimento que é aceitar a partida de Victor, como colocar a palavra: ESPERANÇA, que esse não é o fim, mas o PROCESSO, O CAMINHO para a vida eterna, em que todos nos estamos. Que vai ter um reencontro, logo em breve. Tudo passa muito rapido mas a eternidade sera para sempre. Nos somos pequenos demais para entender e digerir tudo isso. TENHAM PACIÊNCIA, QUE O TEMPO E A FÉ COM MUITA ORAÇÃO VAI TRAZER A CURA DAS FERIDAS QUE PRECISAM HOJE. 
Vocês são pais maravilhosos. cheios de amor. TENHO CERTEZA QUE VICTOR CUMPRIU LINDAMENTE SEU CAMINHO AQUI. TODOS OS CORAÇÕES, POR ONDE PASSOU OU QUE OUVIU O SEU NOME (E TODO O BEM QUE ELE FAZIA) SE MARAVILHOU COM A SUA BONDADE, COM O SEU EMPENHO. Nós amavamos o Victor pela forma que ele tratava a Rayssa. Vocês criaram um homem bom. Foram perfeitos maestros. VICTOR PLANTOU O BEM, FEZ MTS AMIGOS. COLHEU FRUTOS E DEIXOU PRA VCS COLHEREM TAMBÉM. FOI REALIZADO E SUPER PROFISSIONAL. Sería imposible resumir en pocas líneas todos nuestros recuerdos con Víctor. Era una persona muy especial, simpático, cariñoso, amable e inteligente.

Aunque nos vimos solamente de década en década, debido a la distancia, siempre nos trató como si viviésemos a pocos kilómetros. Se sentía muy orgulloso de su familia y de sus orígenes, una prueba de ello es que hablaba fluidamente español.

Nunca podremos olvidar nuestras vivencias en Alhama, Almería, Nueva York y también en Chicago, donde nos vimos por última vez un gélido día de diciembre. Aún recordamos con ilusión ese último día donde nos llevó a su trabajo, nos presentó a sus compañeros y cenamos la mejor pizza de la ciudad.

Nos sentimos profundamente orgullosos de nuestra familia americana. Nunca te olvidaremos Víctor.

An extremely gentle and caring person whose sudden departure from our lives have left a void very difficult to fill. I interacted with Victor almost on a daily basis in different meetings at Amazon and its very difficult to process his absence. May his soul rest in peace and heaven be his eternal abode.

"Sit Tibi Terra Levis." May the Earth be kind with you. Our dear relative Victor left suddenly. Too soon. His unexpected departure has struck our whole family beyond the pain or consolation that tears or weeping can bring.

All those who knew you,know that you were a quiet,affable and family-loving man. That despite your youth you were a man of great academic, professional and personal achievement.

That you were a beneficial presence in the lives of all who knew and loved you.

That light that emanated from your life is present in our hearts. And even in the pain of your absence, your family and loved ones know that no darkness, no matter how deep, can extinguish the Light of that flame.

Guide and protect us all, Victor.
