Vicki Leigh Wester, age 79, of Allen, Texas (formerly of Garland) was born June 2, 1945 to James Deleon and Eufala (Topsy) Wester and passed away February 12, 2025.

Vicki graduated from Garland High School where she was a member of the Dancing Deb’s.  She attended Texas Christian University before attending the University of Oklahoma to study pharmacy.  She graduated with a BS in Pharmacy.  She did a one-year Hospital Residency at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth.  She furthered her education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.  At OU, Vicki was a member of Kappa Epsilon Professional Fraternity, Rho Chi Honor Society, and Alpha Chi Omega Social Sorority.

Vicki lived sports and the outdoors.  She played soccer and loved the Oklahoma Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys football teams.  After her retirement, she traveled the US in an RV with her close friend Susie.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Delwin and Eufala (Topsy) Dudley Wester.  She is survived by her brother James Mack Wester, nieces Tiffany Wester Wrobel, Terrie Shumate Mark (Steve), Alyssa Wester Moates (Daniel), Jamie Wester Clark (Tim), great nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday February 22, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Allen, Texas.  A reception will follow at the church.  The service will be video streamed on the church’s Facebook page.  Her ashes will be scattered at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dallas Hospice and Palliative Care or Christ the Servant Lutheran Church.
