My Aunt Ukot was such a simple , peaceful and sweet person. My ever smiling aunt .I was really very sad when I heard the news of your passing because you were really full of life. Whenever I saw you at family functions, you always wanted to catch-up on where we left off. I will miss you. Rest in peace Aunt. You will always be in our hearts

My condolences to Ukot's family. I first met Ukot when her son, Samuel introduced me as a friend and sister. I remember her praying so deeply that I had to burst into tears ; I had suffered several miscarriages then and her concerns and words of courage can never be forgotten.
May the Good Lord be with the family and grant them eternal peace over your departure in Jesus name.

A Tribute to a loving Sister
Ukotmma, my loving sister
"when peace like a River attendeth my way, when Sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot thou has taught me to say it is well; it is well with my Soul"
You walked hand in hand with the Lord Jesus our Saviour and Redeemer. You were always at hand to listen to and give solution to the Challenges the family was facing; you always fought for the wright of those that came your way, you were very willing to beer the burdens of the needy.
The almighty God always gave you the necessary words to cheer up the broken hearted, you were like the morning dew that would provide the needed moisture to the dryness in people's lives, many looked up to you for succour and hope in life.
your sudden departure has definitely created a vacuum in the family which only God of all Possibilities will fill.
God cannot forget your labour of love and your sacrifices.
Rest in the Bosom of the Lord.

Memories of your distinctive personality, soft voice, vigour in hospitality, good deeds, embracing generosity, and selflessness will long live after you ma. I still remember 2013, when i visited Lagos for an examination, you took me in and cared for me not like someone you were meeting for the first time. I cannot forget the turkey meat you gave to me after that examination. Thank you for being a blessing to us all, you deserve the best of rest even in eternity.
Farewell Ekamummy

Farewell angel, you were a sweetheart of a mother so loving and caring.
I keep trying to understand why & how but I keep hearing "there is a gain in the loss"
Farewell lady soldier, till we all come together in glory.
Deborah's voice like yours will always keep you alive.
Farewell Eka mummy.

Anytime I hear the word "favour" a soft "blushy" smile always comes to me, because it reminds me of the one song Aunty was so fond of singing,
"Call me favour, Favour is my name...." if you have not heard that song before , then I'm not sure you know her well enough.
Aunty was always cheerful, a vibrant woman that will always make the room lively.
Corrects without bias, and yet, with Love.
A pillar of support not just for her family but for friends around and even strangers.
I love you Aunty, I pray your Soul rests in the Bosom of the Lord.

I was honored to meet Mrs. Obadan at the dinner to celebrate her daughter Enihomo's doctoral degree. She was so clearly proud of Eni, and it was easy to see that Mrs. Obadan had an incredible strength of character. I was so very sorry to hear of her passing. She is with God, and I pray that her children may be comforted.

My Eghayo, we love you but God loves you more. You served God with all you had, raised godly children and was standard comparison / model of wife and mother to other women in the family. We shall sorely miss you.
2 Tim 4 v 7-8 You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, you have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day: and not to you only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
May God console bless and keep all those you left behind to mourn you. Good night Grace.
