Travis Michael Gabbard was born April 1st, 1978 in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Michael LeRoy and Glenda Karen (Miller)Gabbard. He grew up in Elgin and graduated from school there in 1997. His favorite class was agriculture and he was active in the FFA chapter. He spent the summer before his senior year traveling from Oklahoma to Montana working on wheat harvest. In his senior year, Elgin's Ag Mechanics team won the state championship and Travis scored …
