Ayal and family: yesterday as Toni left this world, I was flying to Costa Rica to be with my sister who has been holding vigil for our mother. I was reflecting on care and support and love. Your devotion and care for Toni throughout her unexpected illness was inspiring to me and so many others. My mom’s serious situation is part of the natural order of things. Toni’s cancer was not. What we share today is the importance of being a caretaker as best we can be and cherishing the moments of grace we experience in the process.
Sadly, I will not be a able to attend the Shiva or what will be a glorious remembrance of Toni on Saturday. I am in awe of you - the kind, compassionate, and grounded young man you are, your Mom’s most enduring legacy. Peace. Jennifer Moran

Please accept our deepest condolences for the truly devastating loss of a most amazing woman. Ayal, we’ve know you since Dewey and our hearts go out to you. We want you to know we are here (in Brooklyn) if EVER you should need ANYTHING! Your mother is often spoke of in our home, and on the occasion we were able to visit, it was always a memorable treat.

My warmest condolences to Toni’s family, she will be missed by so many. Toni and I met 29 years ago as I was beginning my studies in homeopathy. She was so friendly and outgoing, we had great conversations right off the bat. Years later, Toni was a wonderfully supportive friend and colleague who made herself available to take on my caseload on several occasions, while I was on maternity leave. Her gifts, generous work and strong voice on important issues will live on. We will always remember her bravery, enthusiasm and commitment to helping others live fuller, healthier lives. We have all been blessed by her life.
