I met Toni one summer night in Evanston 2 years ago. There was a live band playing outside and this was my second time going. I was comfortably dancing and Toni matched my energy. Her and Gigi were so sweet, vibrant and inviting to me. They danced with me for a couple hours. I’m 24 and I never felt that young before. We shared bullet point details of our lives and kept in touch via Facebook. She showed me pictures of her sons and her love for them couldn’t go unnoticed. It was clear she valued each as individuals first, and her sons second. Mom goals. I have never met anyone like her before, and she became my role model. I literally got a nose piercing the next day because of her, lol. She is with me always, because her energy taught me the value and benefit of maintaining my childlike energy. To mature intellectually is one thing, to maintain joy and vibrancy is another. Something no one can teach you or describe, only be. Anyone that loved Toni and was loved by Toni is blessed. The world is a better place having had her, and will continue to brighten as we learn to channel her loving spirit. My condolences to all she’s touched in this life 💛

I heard her speak , ever so eloquently just once. Her message as well as her beauty made quite an impression.
I was certain she’d somehow make it through this horrible roadblock and show the naysayers how it is possible to heal .
