We were blessed to meet Tim when he came to live with Austin and Danise in Phoenix. From the moment our eyes met, it was clear that he was like a gentle giant with a sweet spirit and loving nature! There are some people who seem to have a special "anointing" , something about them that moves your heart and tells you that God has placed them in your life for a deep and lasting purpose, and it was clear that Tim was anointed! In the hours spent with him when he was limited in words, Tim's eyes, and soul were communicating in a way that transcended mere words, and our hearts were moved deeply.
Austin & Danise, your sacrificial loving acts for Tim were a clear testament to the special bond you had. Your strength through this difficult time is beyond measure. What a special gift that God gave Tim to have his children with him and together as he prepared to leave this life. We could see his sparkle in each of his children; Terrance, Kendra, and Austin, and we pray that God pour his healing balm over your hearts. Bob and I are so deeply saddened and are lifting you and your family up in prayer!

Timmy was always my "golden brother." When you look at pictures of him from his youth, you see a headful of beautiful long blond hair and you would imagine that he looked like one of the Allman Brothers. He was always this kind, gentle soul, that never raised his voice in anger and loved everyone and everything. He had a deep appreciation and respect for all living things and he had an especially deep love for his girl, Mountain Climber.
He loved new adventures and I remember riding the train in Japan one evening to visit a friend's brother that was also living there. We were in a rural part of the country, no English spoken, and I felt comfortable while in his presence and I knew that I was always safe with him.
I, along with Patty, felt honored to be his confidants over the last couple years. I treasure the conversations that we frequently had and the "I love you" that ended every conversation.
He hasn't left us as he remains in our hearts.
Look to the skies tonight and you will see his shining star!

One more time let me say, " I love you Timmy!"

Austin, We are heartbroken for your loss. Reading your father's obituary was a beautiful glimpse into his life. He was obviously a special individual who cared deeply about his family, friends, animals and nature. We hope your memories will bring you peace and comfort. Please accept our deepest condolences 🙏 Amie and Ken
