Personal note from Family

Since we can't all get together in-person currently, we hope that this site can be a place for us to come together to remember Thuat, share memories and support each other.

For those able to attend the funeral, we will be observing COVID protocol of masking, social distancing and to keep everyone safe, exchange bows instead of hugs and handshakes.

Update from Jan. 26, 2022

On Sunday at Restland Funeral Home we will in the Memorial Chapel building all day. This is a large chapel with plenty of seating. We encourage the majority of friends and family to visit us on Sunday as it will allow for the most space and time.

Please feel free to also attend the Celebration of Life whereby family members will share fond memories and eulogies. On Monday we will be moved into a smaller stateroom (Stateroom T) all day for visitation, the final Buddhist ceremony and then cremation to follow.

Obituary

Thuật Thị Bành was a beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, wife and friend during her incredible 94 years of life. The youngest of 11 siblings, she was born on April 2nd, 1927 in Cantho, Vietnam. Before coming to America in 1981, life was very hard. She raised 9 children while also having to help her husband run a dry goods grocery store.
