Barbara and the entire Schultz Family, please accept our deepest sympathy. We loved Tom like a brother and were shocked to learn of his death. Tom was an instant friend when we met at St. George in second grade. Not only friendly and personable, he was the loyalest of friends and will be dearly missed. Where ever our careers took us to Georgia, California and beyond, we kept in touch, and to be honest, it was due to Tom’s efforts. While we all have our disparate interests and challenges, Tom never forgot about the important relationships and keeping in touch. I am thankful to Tom for that and I will miss our birthday calls and occasional meetings when I visited my folks in Tinley Park. One of my first calls after my Mom passed was to Tom and two days later he and Barbara attended the wake. We will miss you, my friend, and “until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand”. Jim and Viola Dwyer

Tom and my husband coached basketball together a few years ago. We enjoyed his coaching style and his great personality! Our family shares in your loss and we will be thinking about and praying for all of the others who will miss him dearly.

Tom did many projects for us and even mentored my son Joe( pretzel boy)on projects. He joins my dad, who he nicknamed Pedro, up in heaven and probably telling stories after stories. He was a good man!
