I had the fortune to act with Thomas in Burien's Rocky Horror. I loved when I could actually make him laugh when we waited backstage between scenes. He was a talented, charming, and gentle person, who I wish I had known longer.
Just got hit with such a fun memory! It was during Best Christmas Pageant Ever! Thomas showed up wearing this gorgeous bright orange bow tie. It was right when we were both super into Doctor Who and that bow tie was definitely cool. i was so impressed he figured out how to tie it himself. I still can't tie my own bow tie!

I was there when your father and you were both singing in the Tenor section of the FW Chorale. It reminded me of the love and bond I had with my daughters when we were singing together in our church choir. You have a beautiful voice Thomas. Although our hearts grieve your loss, perhaps we’ll sing together once again in Gods heavenly choir.
Thomas was a remarkable singer, actor, student, and friend. It was a pleasure and an honor to work alongside him in the TJMT’s production of Pippin and in the Federal Way Chorale. He was always a very bright and optimistic young man. I had all the hope to see his name on a Broadway bill someday. My sincerest condolences for your loss. I’m praying for your family during this sad time.
I will always remember Thomas in all the years I saw him performing both at Thomas Jefferson and in community theater. He was so good and it was fun to watch him. He was a wonderful young man and he will be sorely missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss. He touched the uplifted the lives of so many of us with his drama and music gifts. I'll never forget him.
We never knew you, but we heard beautiful stories of your son. Our condolences 💔

I am so very sorry to all of you for the loss of Tommy. He probably doesn't even go by that any more, but he did when he sang with us in chorale. So very sad for all of you.

Love,

Jennie Hendrie

There is no way losing a child can ever be easy. My heart aches for you, Michelle--I can't imaging what you are going through as a mother. Being a sister and father would be equally as difficult, the emptiness must be surreal. To have such a talent and young life snuffed out way to soon. I remember Thomas as a little boy, ever optimistic, very determined. I don't think I have ever seen a youngster work as hard as he did to achieve his dream. He will be missed, and the love for him from family and friends will continue on forever.
