Tom was born on October 22, 1940, at home in Newark, NJ. He graduated from St. Benedict’s Preparatory School and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps before marrying his wife, Mary Dockery, on his birthday in 1966.
The longtime Toms River resident was hardworking, dedicating nearly 50 years to the Steamfitters Union Local 475. Tom was extremely active in his community serving as a member of the American Legion Riders Post 129, …
