Tex's obituary

Tex Wesley Rains, 65, of Albany, KY passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was the son the of the late Howard and Ollie Rains. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Rains; his children Pam (DeWight) Collins, David Rains, Crystal Rains, and Wesley Rains; his step-children Ashley Bowlin and Odessa (Aaron) Tipton; his grandchildren Simone Collins, Adrianna Collins, Jeffrey Collins, Michael Collins, Gage Rains, Briar Rains, Skylar Rains, Cheyenne Bryant, Marie Rains, Zachary Rains, Whitney Miller, Harlee Lingenfelter, Rayna Lingenfelter, and Dallas Tipton; 4 great-grandchildren; his siblings Linda Sue Smith, Patricia Jones, Ida Mae Myers, Randall Rains, and Dexter Rains; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private celebration of life party and ash scattering ceremony.
