My Bubba Tex was a awesome man he always did whatever he had to make sure that his family was took care  of.

And no matter what if you needed him he would be there. 

I love and miss him very much. 

I have a lot of memories of Bubba Tex that I keep close to my heart.

The day that we lost him was a very sad day I was at the hospital with my Sis, and her 2 girl's and I called KY police station and we had Wesley on the phone. 

I will not ever forget that day and I will not ever forget my Bubba Tex. 

He was one of the best people that I ever met and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of the family and I wish that I lived closer to KY so I could spend more time with my Sis ( Trish ) I love and miss her so very much. 

And I know that she is having a hard time without Bubba Tex there with her. 

Bubba Tex will always be loved and missed by everyone that he had in his life. 

Rest in peace Bubba until we meet again.

I've known Tex for many, many years. He was a truly wonderful person, and my brother's very best friend. Tex and his family have been as close as family to me, and I spent many days and nights at their house with Ida Mae, since she was 13 years old and they moved in the house next to me. It doesn't seem real that he is gone. Tex was a good man and a true friend. He and Trish have opened their home to me in the past when I needed it most. I cherish the memories I have of Tex and he is and will be greatly missed. With love, Becky (Stearns) Ledbetter

One of kind never saw a stranger lifelong friend and family my daughter thought he hung the moon her Uncle Tex she said and still does the first time she met him he was with Bill she said look at them nakey boys and her and him hit it off she was his Obella that’s how she got her nickname only Tex and Trish could call her that he was Allen friend and helper we could always count on him for anything day or night our hearts are saddened by his passing but he will live on in us cause he was a part of us he is having a good old time now no pain we will always cherish our memories of him go rest high Tex we will always love you

Tex Rains you was one of a kind. You was always so good to me. I'll never forget the first time I met you Trish n Bubba. Bubba brought roosters in to fight n the house. N me passing out with the dogs on your front pouch. Good times! Your being missed by many many people. Till we meet again fly high my friend. Many many prayers for our family.

Uncle, what can I say...  Always in my mind you were the invincible one. The one who could anything that came at him.  I know Heaven got a little sweeter the minute you got there.  You'll forever be in my heart.  I love you uncle.
