Ted’s smile was always present — with Ted and Richie King
My condolences to Ted's family. I first met Ted through Fayetteville Academy’s middle school boys basketball team- as my coach. I then had Ted as my coach for several more years of JV and Varsity Tennis. Some of my favorite memories of highschool are intrinsically tied to Coach Ted. Throughout the whole school year I always looked forward to tennis in the spring with Coach Ted. I’ll never forget Ted’s kindness or his smile. He was such an amazing person who believed in me when not many other coaches I had did. Ted instilled in me, and many others, a love for the game of Tennis. I’ll never forget Ted, or the role he played in my life.
I met Ted at Mazerick park where he gave me a free tennis 🎾 lesson. He was a nice man and very knowledgeable. I’m so sorry for his family’s loss.
