Talula's story has been documented on my blog which you can view here: https://wordpress.com/post/rickreicker.wordpress.com/1167
This blog was written in part to help others out there that may be dealing with a new Leukemia diagnosis, but also to journal my thoughts and preserve my memory of events. If you have not been close in the loop, this will answer many questions. It also links to Zetta's blog which is a beautiful accounting of our experience within the community invited to this site.

I wasn't assigned to Lulu but that never stops me anyway. I looked through her window of the door to her room and smiled at her. She did not reciprocate. I lifted my fingers up and connected my magic fingers to turn on the magical red light of my fingertip. Then, I magically passed the light from one finger to the other. She continued NOT to be impressed. I opened the door and stepped into a wonderful relationship that would grow me in a spiritual way. I handed her my magic; she said she had seen them at a camp before. She proceeded to hold them to her nose, pretended to sneeze, and magically ignited my fingertips! We both smiled; I laughed and told her I would forever use that trick and tell my audience about the strength that she possessed. From then on, as I walked past her door, I would ignite my fingertip and act like I was throwing it at her. One day, she caught it and threw it back to me through her door window.
I laughed and knew I had made a connection.
Be blessed, sweet Lulu!
