Please consider a contribution to Hopkinton Historical Society.

Background

The Hopkinton Historical Society, also known as the New Hampshire Antiquarian Society, was founded in 1859. The Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and inform the public of the unique history of the Town of Hopkinton.
Sylvia (Clough) Myers Willoughby is part of that history. She is the great granddaughter of Charles Clough whose grandfather James Clough founded the town of Cloughville over 200 years ago. Sylvia and her family have summered in Contoocook, NH for decades on Lake Jo-Sylvia, also known as Clement Pond. Many other relatives of the Cloughs still reside in Contoocook and the surrounding towns. Sylvia has long supported the Society's goals.
