Sylvia's obituary
Sylvia was born on May 9, 1938 in Washington DC to Mary Lang. She received a Masters Degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ and practiced as a school Psychologist for 25 years in Carteret, NJ.
On March 28, 1959, she married Edward Clarence Franklin. They raised three sons, Edward, Richard and David.
Sylvia was a loving mother who had a passion for old movies, especially black and white. She loved playing mahjong with friends and was an avid collector of ceramic figurines. She was whip-smart with a sharp sense of humor, and always did her best to help people around her.
Sylvia is survived by her husband Edward, and her three children, Ed, Rick and David.
