He was my mentor-in-chief. Whatever I am today, it is because of him.

His immaculate guidance, his articulation on any subject was extra-ordinary. He could see through people's talents, great at poetry, great at relationships, truly a person with lot of love for his family & friends and crystal clear in his thoughts about what he wanted and what could be avoided..

I have a lot to share and write about him - no words are enough...

I miss you dear Bava!!!

Suryakumar uncle is one of our family's well-wishers, and it is very hard to hear such a bad news for our family. I still remember him guiding me to choose different groups during my B.tech. I owe him my graduate degree; without his support, it is not possible.

No more word's to say how he helpd during our difficult times.

If we have to write about kumar as  a human being the words will not be sufficient to write about him because as said by others he is an intellectual, hardworking, helping, uplifting ,enquiring, advising ,maintaining cordial relationship with others. Unlike others he never reveals the help done by him to any one. We will find such humble persons  very rarely and unable to digest the demise of  beloved brother.I pray God to give strength to his family to bear the  situation.

There are people we meet in our daily life and there are people who leave a lasting impression on our lives though we met face-to-face quite rarely. Sri Surya Kumar Garu is the one and only person conforming to the second category in my life. I met him for the first time back in 2006 and then once or twice around 2009-10. After that, we spoke quite many times over phone. And, it was on December 18, 2022 that I met him for the last time. Never did I imagine that it would be the last time that I would meet him in person.

However, it was his immense knowledge of Advaita Vedanta, our Dharmic scriptures, and other Sanskrit literature that had made me his disciple. It was during my first attempt at translating a Telugu text replete with Vedantic, Upanishadic, and Dharmic conjugated phrases in Sanskrit to English that I sought his guidance. Instead of guiding me in translating the text, he went on to imparting a deeper understanding of what these Sanskrit phrases inspired and 'stood for' in the prasthana of a spiritual seeker. It was, in fact, a deeply enriching and enlightening journey that Surya Kumar Garu had guided me along. The term Akshara Brahman literally manifested for me during this journey. The benefit of being bestowed with his knowledge is what the Purva Mimamskaras have called Adrushta. More importantly, with this attempt and under the tutelage of Surya Kumar Garu, my focus became intense towards our spiritual and philosophical texts from the hitherto Judeo-Christian and Hellenistic texts. I venture to call it Jnanabodha (vis-à-vis the Vedantic discourse) – something that a Guru imparts to his Sishya in the Guru-Sishya Parampara of yore.

To the misfortune of the earthly beings related to him - his family, his friends, and disciples like me - the Paramatma seems to have bestowed upon him a greater task of serving His Lotus Feet.

Dhanhyosmi Surya Kumar Garu for the invaluable spiritual and philosophical guidance. I shall forever remain indebted to you Sir.

Very nice, lovable person. One of the few persons I came across in my life. I felt 😓for his early demise. We were in the same apartments for more than 10 years.

Kumar was an impeccable, honest, humble and magnanimous human being who can be defined as Ajathasathru. His intellectual brilliance is second to none. He always loved and lived for his near and dear and for their betterment . His ever smiling face can never be forgotten. His early departure from this world is very painful not only for his family, but so many families who have lost a helping hand and encouraging soul

With Deep sorrow..

Ramakrishna, padma

As our Sanatana Dharma teaches us Daivam Manushya Rupena … G Surya Kumar is God to many.. when someone needs help in job  , for job or whatever be it. When they pray God,  we find G Surya Kumar  coming forward to help , not with Bows, Arrows or Chakra or sword.   But with guidance, message, filling confidence and giving everything what is required. Second thing what I observed he followed the sanatana dharma principles of paropakaram idam shareeram and always waiting and wanting to help many and helped many. He is God, Guru, Acharya to many. He just not helped many but made their life’s. He is truly inspiration for many of us and I wish to be like him. Talking to him was a Satsang. Gaining knowledge or Gyana. Thanks for been part of our life’s   Koti Kumar mama… the one and only OUR Kumar mavayya. A great Man…

I pray God to give required strength to Mrs.Jyothi , Aditya and Manasa to withstand the irreparable loss and for the onward journey of the noble soul to the brighter world.

I have never met or conversed with Mr Surya or his wife, but my daughter, who is a very good friend of his daughter, always talked very highly about him, and used to stay occasionally at his house, and vice versa, his daughter at our house in Kerala. Ask any father of any daughter the trust one must have to allow overnight stay at any residence where one has not met the Graha Nathan. He is one the few people who I trusted completely to keep my daughter safe and sound, because he treated my daughter as family, and the family continues to do so.

Earning a father's trust is one of the most sacred aspects of being a caring human and he accomplished that with aplomb.

May his soul rest sublimely in its next incarnation ever closer to the creator.
