Stewart Reginald (Rex) Whitehurst Jr, 93, of Charlottesville, passed away on November 28, 2023. Rex was born on April 28, 1930 to the late Stewart and Elizabeth Whitehurst in Norfolk, VA. He graduated from Maury High School in Norfolk, VA. Rex attended the Norfolk Division of William and Mary for a few years before serving in the United States Navy. He was stationed in Norfolk, VA, Jacksonville, Fl and Corpus Christi, TX before continuing his …
