My Grandfather was a lot of things to a lot of people, he cared about others and touched a lot of individual lives in some way or another, but to me, this man is a life long best friend.

He taught me so much as I was growing up. How to act like a man, how to care, how to stand up for myself and others, to not ever waver in fear, and to not let pain control you as it is just weakness leaving the body, that standing up and having pride for something is not only okay but needed in life, and most importantly he taught me what respect was at a very young age.

He was there through it all cracking jokes making me laugh in good times and In bad.

When I was a kid Steve and I would watch movies together quite often when I was at his house, we watched a lot of movies, but one stands out above all the rest in my memory. There is a movie called 'Second Hand Lions' which will forever be Steve and I's movie. We watched it countless times together. Even as a kid the movie reminded me of my Grandfather and I.

I appreciate each and every one of you posting memories or how you knew him it's inspiring to me to see how many people have his back. You all mean the world to me just for being in his life❤️

Please send any and all photos you have with / of Steve i would love to see them and hear stories.

Steve was the best kind of man and the only person I dare call an idol.

Cheers to the outstanding life of the best person I know.

I love you grandpa.
