Steve was born November 25, 1960 in Ames, Iowa the son of Gene E. And Myrtle D. (Rose) Hanson. He graduated from Forest City High School in Forest City, Iowa in 1979. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corps. Steve served as a Motor Transport operator and mechanic for four years. He was stationed on the East and …
