Memories & condolences

Cathie, I’m so sorry to hear about Steve. He was a good man. I saw the post in google when I was trying to get in touch with you. Hugs from your big sister. Love you!
I Knew Steve for many years. He shod my horses at Marcos Stables for many years. We laughed a lot and butted heads sometimes, but I only regret not saying goodbye before I left Texas last year. I heard he was back from back East and wanted to see him. I did not know of his illness. My blessings to his family. God will have a wonderful Farrier to shoe all the horses at the rainbow bridge🏇🌹🌹
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Steve?"
We went to our senior year of High School together and became good friends. We worked on cars and hung out. I learned patience from Steve, although I never mastered it. We did many adventures together and Milt and Maria were like second parents to me. I will miss Steve dearly .. and wish I'd kept more in touch with him in later years.
In response to "What did you learn from Steve?"
I will forever be indebted to Steve for being Aragon and Pippin’s first farrier. Steve was an amazing horseman and farrier and he used this skill on my boys when they got their first trims and shoes. As a result both of them snooze while my farrier works on them. Steve also taught me a lot about being a good horse woman and his lessons have stayed with me. I will miss his wicked sense of humor and his warm hugs. May he Rest In Peace. 💜Selma
