Steve was my friend in the early 70s. A really great guy! He used to give my wife and I free concert tickets quite often. When he left WPLO fm he gave me a big box full of vinyl albums! I still have them today! I listened to him and Ed Shane all the time. They changed my music preferences completely and I thank them for it. Can't believe he's gone.

Steve was my first husband and we remained friends throughout our lives. He had called me shortly before his death in 2020, but he didn’t seem to be sick. We had a normal conversation. I’m really sorry that he died when he did! I would’ve stayed in touch with him in 2020, if I’d known. I’m not sure he even realized that he’d be gone soon when he called me. He was just saying, “Hello!”! I, actually, just found out yesterday, after trying to contact him for a couple years. A friend told me that she saw his obituary by googling his name, so I did that, as well. I did love Steve. We just married too young. And, I never found a kinder man in all my 75 years! I turned 75 today! And, I’ll always think of Steve kindly. I, definitely, DO miss him!
