Professor Pearl and I along with many others met her at Northwest Nazarene University. She taught Childhood Health and Welfare.
She created such a huge impact in the social work department and NNU as a whole. She wasn’t just dedicated to her the agency, but also to us students. Even when she was away and class had to be online, she made sure that she would be there. Even though we only had a semester with her, she showed us how much she loved being the founder and executive director for A New Beginning along with her willing to tell her stories about her family and the life she built. Our hearts go out to her, the family, and the community that she created out of love.

I was always so impressed by Steffanie’s commitment to all children and her dedication to the organizations she founded or worked with. She was a special lady till the very end. My heart grieves with all of her family and especially my friends Kathie and Jerry. May God bring all of her friends, family and co-workers comfort in the days ahead.

I have known Stephanie my entire career as a social worker and always appreciated her advocacy for families and her kind spirit. I am sad to see her gone so soon. Much love to her family and those families she assisted.
