In 2013, Spencer and I produced my first play together. His support was the driving force behind the play's success!

I'm grateful for the leadership and guidance he offered.

Happy Birthday in Heaven Spencer. You are missed...

Spencer was always someone I could have deep discussions about American history.

He encouraged me to present my play, which is set in 1989, to the world.

He is truly missed.

Happy Heavenly Birthday dear Spencer.

While I do not recall ever spending a birthday with Spender— him in NJ and Me in NC, his birthday was special to me— as he was. I can say — from the time I met him, I never missed out on Birthday wishes to him on January 3rd.

I’ll always have a memory of Spencer in my heart 💜

Shyrese

I was saddened when I heard the news of Spencer's passing. He served on the Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies of Essex’ board when I was the Director. Spencer was an excellent board member, always ready to roll up his sleeves and get to work.
