Background
In 2019, Spencer was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer, and he received radiation and chemo treatment at the Frederick B. Cohen, M.D. Comprehensive Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center for two and half years.
All of his health care providers were associated with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He had a great medical team who cared about his health and well-being. Spencer trusted them, especially doctors Sari Jacoby, Sarah Pankhoori, Evan Diamond, Wen Xiong, Charles S. Cathcart, Pratik Patel, Gautam Visveswaran, Marc Linder, Craig Goldstein, Trevor H. Atherley, Alice J. Cohen, Yan Ho Cheng, Lori Schleider, Maya M. Shah, and David M. Newman. He had a wonderful Oncology Social Worker and team of Nurses-Leon Lejda, Rosangela Santana, Juliana Jones, Lorna Phillips, and dozens more.
Your donation will help other patients who need specialized care at one of the leading cancer centers in greater Newark and Northern New Jersey.
