Sonya Fortner Swayney, 60, of Coats, NC went to be with her savior in heaven on February 14th, 2025. She passed away peacefully at Cape Fear Memorial Hospital with her son, Max Fortner and daughter-in-law, Crystal, at her side.
Sonya, also known as “Lynne” by family, was cherished by many for her loving nature. She loved cooking which created a bond amongst her several siblings, son, and extended family. She was often found at the …
