Sixto Mojica Nuñez of Moreno Valley, CA, passed away on January 10, 2021, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was 91 years old.

Sixto was born in Indang, Cavite, Philippines, on April 6, 1929. He joined the U.S. Navy, and served with honor and distinction for 20 years as a Disbursing Clerk Chief Petty Officer. He served during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Midway, USS Ranger, USS Coral Sea and USS Hancock.

Memorial events are private

The Nunez Family is so gracious for your love and support as we celebrate the life of Sixto and honor his memory. Due to COVID-19 and the current California Stay-at-Home order, you will be notified if attendance will be permitted. The viewing and burial will be closed to immediate family and you will be notified if attendance will be permitted. Sixto's rosary & mass will be on Tuesday, February 2nd.
