From all of your friends and family at Carat,  Simone touched all of our lives and work in the most positive ways. She was a force and brought the most positive energy that we will all learn and grow from, and have a part of us always.

I sat next to Simone in the office at ABI. I was on her left, she was on my right. She started a few months before me and went out of her way to welcome me to the company. It was important to her that everyone who joined after have a good experience and feel like they were part of something. She invited us to lunch, she shared personal stories, she turned our shared office environment into something warmer than it could have been without her. She was also a brilliant worker - she was able to see through the clutter to what was important and bring people along with her thinking, which I'm sure is why she was entrusted with so much responsibility so quickly. I'm picking up some of her projects where she left off and I'm regularly filled with admiration for her clear, strategic, farsighted thinking.

It's so hard coming in every day and seeing her empty desk. I didn't work with her for long, but she made a real impact on all of us. We were all devastated when we heard the news.

I cannot attend her service, but I wanted to pass along my admiration for Simone and best wishes for her family.

We are really sorry for your loss.  Our thoughts are with you . . . The Walmsleys

So very sorry. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. All my love thoughts and prayers are with you all always.
I had the pleasure of starting my career with Simone as a fellow Ogilvy Associate. She was full of energy, super smart, and an all around great colleague. It’s been many years since we last spoke, but I was saddened to learn of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, son, and entire family.
Simone was a warm and intelligent colleague at Ogilvy. I'm sorry to hear of her passing, and my prayers are with her family.
We worked together at Ogilvy for only a few months, but Simone made a lasting impression on me with her intelligence, drive and all-around goodness. Just the other day, I was thinking of how she used to talk about her little sister, who she thought was the coolest. Sending much love and sympathy to the family.

I will always remember the smile and warmth Simone glowed with whenever I visited the 14th floor at Carat. I can still replay her voice in my head and how she always took time to connect even if she was rushing off to the next meeting in her day. So grateful to have been in the presence of a truly wonderful human being and the impact she had on so many of us.  My deepest condolences to her family and to those touched by her life.
I had the amazing opportunity to work with Simone during her years at Carat. She was one of the most talented people I have ever worked with, her ability to deliver brilliance with simplicity, and make everyone in the room feel welcome and special were her true super powers. The only thing we ever disagreed on was who was better at college basketball, Duke or UNC, which always lead us to a good laugh :)  I was heartbroken to hear this news, and sending prayers and love to her family and friends. Her spirit is infectious and I know will live on through the many people she touched.
Simone was the first child born in our little cul-de-sac of Classon Court.  She was a special little girl with a beautiful smile that would brighten your day.    I loved sharing her birthday events as she grew older and babysitting her as a child.  She grew into this lovely woman whom I was able to share in her wedding celebration and birth to her beautiful boy Aiden.  I am so grateful to have these beautiful memories of her to cherish forever.  Simone you were a bright light in our lives and I will remember you always as you fly with the Angels!  RIP Dear sweet girl.  Love you & missing you always, Ria

Hi Josh,

I’m so saddened to hear of Simone’s loss. She was a pleasure to talk with during our games.

I’m thinking and praying for you, Aidan, and the rest of the family.

Sincerely,

Andrew Lee

I had the great pleasure to work with Simone during her tenure at Carat. One of my favorite memories of her was when Carat was invited to present a recent research study (The Millennial Disconnect) to a client of one of our sister agencies. Simone was one of the young analysts that worked on this study. As such, I selected her to present this study to a room of dozen or more clients. I don't think she had much experience presenting in such a setting. Regardless, she nailed it. I was super impressed with Simone -- her composure, her grasp of the material, her ability to answer questions on the fly. From that moment on, Simone became a secret weapon in new business pitches, including ABInBev, where she eventually went on to work.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Simone. She was a shining light. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Doug

Frank, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss.
I will be there in spirit, Janice. Simone's memorial was beautifully written. She lived a productive and impressive life. Simone left us each a better person having known her many accomplishments. Love,
Patricia Wecht
In response to "When was the last time you spent time with Simone?"
When I think about Simone, I always picture her on the dance floor. I believe she was about six years old and really the cutest little thing you ever did see. It was at some family wedding, and the DJ was playing Billy Idol’s version of “Mony, Mony.” Everyone, and I mean everyone, was cheering Simone on. I’ll never forget that beautiful smile on her face.
