I remember Simon celebrating each day as its own, he found joy in others finding joy. Sometimes I felt he was an old soul, other times it seemed he relished in childlike wonder. No matter what he was most often smiling and it was that pleasant demeanor that so many appreciated about him. Happy birthday to you Simon of the spiritual world. You are so missed and won’t ever be forgotten.
In this family cousins are a big deal.  I did not get to know Simon as well as I had wished to.  Time and space prevented it.  But the few instances showed me another great cousin.  I just wished we could have had more time together. Maybe it will come in our next lives.
Yesterday, on the anniversary of Simon’s passing, I saw someone whom I thought was Simon. He was wearing a mask, but I had to take a double take because he shared Simon’s big warm brown eyes and his hairline and low man-bun😌. I think it was a sign to think of him on this day. And it made me smile and also reminded me of how much he I missed him.

I have been beyond blessed to have had Simon in my life and heart. Right before my amazing daughter Trü was born I ran into Simon “picking” at the Goodwill on Grand.

He was overjoyed for me and was openly stoked for my becoming a father. That moment will ALWAYS stay in my heart because Simon was always so reserved and chill around me and to see the excitement for me that was so genuine and true is the epitome of the greatness that was, is, and will always be Simon.

Stay golden and keep soaring high no matter where you’ve chosen to travel on.

Rest In Love mi hermano. ❤️

This was Simon's favorite oddly enough it's a tribute to those who have passed on.

Simon was the first friend I made after I moved to Portland. We had a few classes together at Grant and I remember bumping into him after school one day out in front of Grant HS. We started talking and he invited me to come hang out with his crew. Simon, Dave K, Meech, Dylan, and many more all took me in like I was family. I quickly became a part of their social circle. The Great thing about Simon  is that his circles overlapped with most other social circles so he knew everyone and everyone knew him. He was liked and loved by everyone. I don't think I ever heard any one speak ill of Simon.  We remained friends  through the years weaving in and out of each others lives as time and circumstance allowed. My Memories of those times with him are vivid and clear. I can't believe he's gone. Simon, you will live on in the hearts and memories of so many people you have affected in this world. You will be missed! One Love!

My condolences to Simon's family. I first met Simon when I was at Fernwood Middle School, and then friends at Grant.  Last I saw Simon was in New York.  He was always kind to me and a Lovley soul.  He will be missed.

Dearest Biasi family, you know already how much I love you and treasure my memories with you when you hosted me so generously. I think of you and Simon. With all my affection, a very warm hug to you all.
