Siddika Shevket was a beloved wife (of 72 years), mother, and Nene to three granddaughters. She was born in Lefkara, Cyprus, and worked as a talented seamstress, marrying Ismail and later adopting Keziban.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of war, Siddika and her family were forced to leave Lefkara in 1963. They were eventually welcomed to America and landed in New York first before settling in South Florida. Siddika and Ismail’s immigration to the US …
