惊闻淑兰赴黄泉，

涕泪潸然意惨然。

昔日同堂研学问，

今朝独我忆诗篇。

音容笑貌心中驻，

聪明智慧梦里传。

痛惜英才乘鹤去，

唯留思念永绵延。

Working with Shulan over many years has been a true pleasure. Throughout this time, she not only became a cherished colleague but also a dear friend. Her dedication and hard work were truly inspiring, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Shulan’s smile brightened every day, and she was always ready to tackle any task assigned to her. I had the privilege of training her in cytogenetics, and I quickly came to rely on her work. Her swift learning and reliability were a testament to her intelligence and determination. I could always count on Shulan to complete any task with precision and thoroughness.

Our relationship went beyond work; over the 15 years we knew each other, Shulan became a trusted advisor and friend. She offered invaluable advice on raising my children and balancing work and life, enriching my personal and professional life.

It has been wonderful to see how Shulan raised Lily to be such an independent and remarkable person, a testament to Shulan’s strength and character.

Shulan, may you rest in peace. You will be greatly missed by all of us. Your legacy of hard work, friendship, and the love you had for your family will remain in our hearts forever.
