Prelude to Shirley Bryant’s Obituary
On June 4, 2025, I lost not only my mother, but also my best friend. Like many mothers and daughters, we had our tumultuous years; but as I matured, I came to deeply admire her indomitable spirit and the grace with which she faced life’s many challenges.
