The Uyeyama family is sad to announce the passing of Shigeru Uyeyama on February 16th 2026.
He was predeceased by his wife Yoshiko and his son Randy. He is survived by, his son Michael (Shelley), he is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and their spouses, one great granddaughter and two great grandson and several nephews and nieces.
Shig was born in Prince Rupert and came to Greenwood during the WW2 internment camps. He made …
