Sending our deepest love and sympathies to Richard, Shannon, Jason and Jeremy and to the entire Cook and Squire families. Sher was a dear friend to us and to our family. I was first introduced to her as her visiting teacher. Sher was so kind, loving and giving to both Kelly and I and to our 3 young sons. I loved visiting her and she always lifted me on those visits. She knew grief and pain intimately but always asked about my family during those visits. Generous and kind considerate and loving. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. We love you Sher.❤️Marie and Kelly mcentire and family❤️
I adored Sister Cook. She was the Young Women's counselor over the Beehives when I was 12 and 13, and I served my first ever church callings (Beehive secretary and Beehive president) under her loving direction. She modeled to me how to serve in the church. Being 12-13 is always a hard time, but Sister Cook always made me feel loved and helped me want to continue in church activity even though it was difficult at times. While I haven't seen or spoken to her for many years, and she may not even remember me, she made a big impact on my life. I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to meet and be taught by her. My sincere condolences to her entire family.
Richard and family, I will miss her and she is in my thoughts consistently. Thank you Lord for bringing the two of us together. So grateful for eternity 💗

Sherilyn and I became friends at the age of 9 when my family was baptized. I was from “the other side of the tracks”, but Sherilyn always made me feel included and cared about. She even made a big deal over our living situation when she came to visit the inner city , exclaiming how much fun the playgrounds were. We had years of fun during our time in Primary and MIA, lots of parties and camping excursions. Typical silly girls. After we grew up and moved away, we maintained contact and I always had to see her when I was going to be in the area. I last saw her in February, 2017. I was finishing up chemo and radiation, and she easily looked beyond that. Always a loving, supportive, and gracious beauty. I know she is sitting at the feet of our Lord. I’ve been tremendously blessed to have her in my life.
