sheila ann murray jeter ,77, of dayton,oh , passed away on december 24, 2021 after a hard battle with alcoholism.

sheila was born on march 3, 1944 to ruth bailey osborne and ronald anthony murray in dayton, ohio. After graduating from Roosevelt High (RHS) Class in 1962, she went on to study african american culture at Coppin State University .

After graduation, she landed her first job as a secretary for caterpillar for 30 years . 

In 1966, she met joseph williams jeter , and they wed in 1969, going on to have 7 children, danielle, monica, james, donald, christopher, linda, richard.

When shelia had danielle, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. sheila excelled at propping up her children and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was joseph through low income or james through singing, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

sheila was a passionate for skating and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her garage practicing skating. We will miss her greatly.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to cedar hill . There will be a memorial service at saturday, january 1, 2022, 11am at cedar hill funeral home .
